YES! I Do Have An Alexander Skarsgård Obsession, And I’m Not Afraid To ADMIT IT :)
Yes I Have Seen Straw Dogs And I Thought It Was Absolutely Amazing. I Thought Alex’s Performance As Charlie Venner Was Riveting, Not Only Did He Have The Ability To Make Charlie Extremely Frightening And Menacing, But He Also Made The Character From The Book Very Three Dimensional, Which Was Refreshing. Also The Characters Of Amy And David Sumner (Played By Kate Bosworth And James Marsden) Where Also Fantastic, I Think Kate In One Scene In Particular Was Outstanding, But It Was A Performance That She Carried Throughout The Entire Film., And James Was Fabulous As David, He Really Showed The Feelings That David Had At Certain Point And Made The Audience Feel Them Too. I Think It Is A Fabulous Remake Of A Timeless Classic! I Would Recommend It To Anyone Who Loves Films, I Wouldn’t Have Just Gone To See It Because Of Alex (Although, It Was A Welcome Bonus!) However This Film Is NOT For The Faint Hearted, It’ An 18 (NC-17) For A Reason, There Are Scenes In This Film That Make You Want To Look Away But Because The Story Is So Captivating, You Can’t.
Overall If I Were To Give This Film A Rating It Would Be 5 Stars.★★★★★ Because It Is An Amazing Re-Make, And The Acting By All The Cast Is Brilliant.
